I've tried using the BMW USA website to build using all options available but they do not have the performance parts as shown in the above video so I wonder how that's done. Are they limited edition? I was bummed about the new look of 3 series but this one with performance parts from the factory changed my mind. |

Go to the dealer. M Performance parts are dealer installed, so you just order the car with all the options you want, and then tell the dealer to order the additional M Performance parts, you will have to pay for installation of them. In some markets (like Germany) you can include those parts in your lease, in others thats not possible. I'm not sure what's the case in the US. If it is not possible you will have to pay for the parts additionally of course.
I suggest to check pricing additionally from third parties like getBMWparts.com or similar shops, dealers often try to rip you off. Or just go with third party parts entirely. At the dealer it will be ~$7k including installation if you want the carbon stuff for the full package which includes:
Just have a look at the Cosmetic and Lighting Modification section of the forum. Maybe you find a part that you like even better than the OEM stuff. |

Went for that exact look on my M340i. Even ended up swapping the middle part out of my factory grill and inserting the shadow line version. I ended up going to the vertical slats for front grill. Anyways, a few pics.

In the U.S. many performance parts ordered when you order the car can be port installed at the VPC. Port installed options are generally depreciable on a lease.

VPC is vehicle processing center, commonly called the port. Port and VPC are the same thing.
