Let's hope that this hideous design doesn't leave BMW up that river without a paddle...
I'm done with BMW if the next M3/M4 looks like that.

Well, now that the G22 concept is out, there's no denying that the G80/G82 will have a similar front grill.

Dude, based on the new 4, we need an updated render of the M3 ! 😅
My only question to this design is, where are they gonna put the radar now? 🤔 |

Does it matter? It's just putting lipstick on a pig at this point unless BMW wakes up. Firs they screwed up with their EVs and now they're copying Audi and Lexus. I say they have an identity crisis

I completely disagree with you! I think it’s a matter of taste and I totally love the new grill and design overall, apart from the rear... I can’t say I don't like the rear but it just looks a bit busy... anyways it will probably look better in the production model. You have to realize that from the marketing perspective bmw cars are getting boring with their same old design and they have to work really hard to bring us something new... BMW finally decided to step out of their comfort zone which is a good thing, not a bad thing. All you people that are constantly complaining about the new designs are going to end up loving this design and buying all those new cars until they come up with their next design and your complaints will start again. Enjoy life, accept the change and learn to love it! If you don’t like it, there are older models and other cars to choose from!

P.S. Before someone makes the comment I do believe the F80 front end was based on the "coupe" front end, but it still resembled the F30. |

A vast majority of people who buy M3s are passive consumers so they aren't actively predicting the looks of the next M3. Yet, I have a strange feeling they will also dislike the looks. Besides, if I'm paying 60k+, I shouldn't have to expect a car to look a certain way so I can make myself learn to like it. An M3 is supposed to have charisma on its own. That's why people buy them. I have a distaste for stupidity and that's what BMW has done here.
