I received the emails below from BMW Genius and BMW assist customer service. This actually did work and connectivity is now fully functional. Hope this helps others. At some point I'll take it in to get the latest update as well. |

I can't even use the app to locate my car... it's pretty useless. The Mercedes Me app for my wife's car works flawlessly... you can even use it to start the car remotely.

My remote start via the app was down once but that was probably because of low battery on my phone (atleast, that’s what the app said). But connecteddrive has always worked perfectly for me. Showing me exactly where my car is and remote start always worked except for that one day.

I wish I can have my connected drive app work. Hasn't worked for almost 3 months now. I used to use it daily to check the status of the vehicle when I was unsure if I left something open or not. Frustrating to say the least.
