At least I love the color and wheels. That's about it however.

True, but the reality is that in Europe there is a trim level called "M Sport" which explains why the badges are there.
But your comment is valid.
"M Sport" needs its own badge. Something to differentiate.

Sorry. It is a terrible misuse of the Motorsport Division heritage but hey thats marketing and profits.

On M Sport cars, the air intakes on the front end are larger and seem upturned, creating a meaner, 'scowling' appearance. Certain styling details – such as the wing mirrors and the trim wrapped around that iconic 'kidney' grille – have been turned jet black as well. They are also 'M' badges dotted all over the place, including the car's wings and wheels.

Yeah, the M badge is annoying...I actually think I'd remove it if I bought this car. The side profile looks great in this color and I think removing the badge would complete a very nice and clean look.

Pretty nice color. Wheels look nice too.
But that's about it.
US plates look even worse than the European plates on the front.
My opinion. Nothing against people who like the design. Good for you.

Sorry, but this isn't a BMW. It's an Infiniti with a laughable grill.

I do like the grill outline in body colour, Not a fan of Cerium Grey so black grill inserts for me. I like the black below to replace the Cerium Grey as well but also like the mirror caps in body colour.

Great color but the front end ruins the car, not just the grill, the entire front end.

They have been doing that since the F30/32. That was implemented when BMW came up with the M-everything cars.

this is the detuned version and not an M car. but i'm in agreement that this car should not have an M badge at all...

This will do 258hp and 295ftlbs from the factory on the standard B48 model.

M440i will be making 382hp and 369ftlbs

I think someone that also makes this grille look bad is the chrome outlining.

The all black makes it blend in more on the G8x fer sure.
