Is special antifreeze coolant required on winter?

Hi and sorry for the amatour question. Is the stock coolant that the car came up with suitable for winter as well or do I need to top it up with winter coolant?

I have not heard of anyone in the U.S., even where it gets quite cold, doing anything different w.r.t. coolant in the winter

Stock coolant mixture of 50% is good for temps down to about -35 Fahrenheit.
