My 2020 car didn't have any in the back either, my 2023 has 2 USB-C there. Can you not just use a 12v USB C plug adapter to give you more?

Yes- this will work in the armrest location- but it is “charge only.” If you have “data” in the armrest ports, then you’ll need a u11 (LCI BMW X1) version of the ports in that listing. You’ll know it supports data if you see the “usb symbol” next to the “charging symbol” that is displayed in that listing,

My bad- not all 3 series have the back seat “double usb-c ports”

Some do though- and the mounting, specs and connectors are all the same for the single port in the armrest.
