Hi guys,

Currently driving a 2020 G20 330e,
The build date is December 2019
My iDrive is currently on 11/2021.40
Wondering if it’s possible to update to the most latest iDrive. My friend has a July 2020 build date and his iDrive is ?/2024.?

You could try OTA update. Either through the app or through the idrive menu itself. Neither of which have ever worked for me, so my dealer has done it during service intervals

My 2020 was stuck on the software update as yours. It would download the OTA update but never install it until i had bought a 20 amp battery charger. Once it was full and around 13volts it would update then. If that doesn't work, you can use ista or esys to update it. The dealership was charging me 400 Canadian to update the car.

There was an issue with some version that can´t be updated via the RSU process.
Could be one of these versions.
You could ask a dealer to update or find a coding specialist in your area.

Update, decided I’m fine not updating it, got the ecu unlocked and would like to keep it that way
