G20 RAM module replacement

Is it possible to purchase a used RAM module on ebay and code it to work with my car? or do i have to purchase a new one from the dealership. I have one speaker line that doesn't work on the receiver audio module.

I have RAM modules in my computer but have no idea if there is one in my car and why I should want to change it.

Tommo3. (Unless this is your kind of humor). I have learned from this forum that RAM in BMW context stands for receiver audio module.

When you change tires, the on-board computer asks for information. I think it will grimace when it comes to RAM.

So, logically, I think some coding will be necessary. The probability of technical assistance seems high to me.

If I were you, I'd ask support@bimmer-tech.net, first.
