[QUOTE=Cortexiphan;30720995]I agree. Why would people be upset about that? They know times change, headlight tech change, and that kidney grill size and shape changed many times in the past. Even if not, it’s just design, being so angry about it, finding every thread on the internet and insulting & attacking humans in every single opportunity would be insane, deranged, in urgent need of mental help. So I agree, why would people be so upset about that?

You ever heard the phrase “over egging the pudding”? You just produced a great example.

Man, man, cool down a bit. BMW is just a car manufacturer. Stop annoucing trolling on repeated design critique (which is what BMW actually wants and provokes). Don't get sick about it either, it will not help. After all it's just a car. And, I would advice nobody to abandon this forum because they provide so much asked for by BMW.

Look we should be grateful...M340i/M440is with B58s and ZF 8 speed and G8X with S58s.

Go over to Mercedes and drive that 4 cylinder C43 with a clunky 9 speed transmission! Or the new C63 with a 4 cylinder and electric motor....

Yes looks are important...but the engine and transmission are the heart and soul.

We are lucky to have the B58 and S58.

Have they replaced the airbag on the G2x 4-series?

Is that a bad thing - no, there is a market to be had there. I’m glad to see more people coming into the BMW fam. The problem, almost exclusively, is BMW hasn’t given their old 3-series customers a place to go. I’ve had six 3’s, including 3 M3s, and I just don’t feel like BMW has given me a place to go.

The 5 is too big, the Z has been neglected, and everything else is an SUV. If BMW would just add a single high end performance focused car I think everyone could STFU and move on happily.

Idk why anyone would go to Kia though…
Great point and agreed!

No. The 4 series retains the stitched airbag cover. Only the 2 and 3 Series (non-M cars) get the plastic cover.

My m340i arrived today, very happy with it. Must admit whilst I was initially really disappointed with the plastic air bag cover change when I read about it on here, it doesn't look too bad in person and I'll get used to it in no time.

Wow, I saw it in the configurator now. It looks terrible. Another cost cutting thing from the "premium" brand..

Do you have irl pics?
