Yes looks are important...but the engine and transmission are the heart and soul.

Is that a bad thing - no, there is a market to be had there. I’m glad to see more people coming into the BMW fam. The problem, almost exclusively, is BMW hasn’t given their old 3-series customers a place to go. I’ve had six 3’s, including 3 M3s, and I just don’t feel like BMW has given me a place to go.

The 5 is too big, the Z has been neglected, and everything else is an SUV. If BMW would just add a single high end performance focused car I think everyone could STFU and move on happily.

No. The 4 series retains the stitched airbag cover. Only the 2 and 3 Series (non-M cars) get the plastic cover.

My m340i arrived today, very happy with it. Must admit whilst I was initially really disappointed with the plastic air bag cover change when I read about it on here, it doesn't look too bad in person and I'll get used to it in no time.
