Valve closes when revving above 4k rpm in sports mode, how to overcome?

This doesn’t happen when revving in neutral when the car is moving, for some reason. But I’d also like to be able to hear high rpm revs while stationary… G26 M440i is the car in question.

are you saying when you are in parked your valve is closed in sport mode?

If so, I am pretty sure you can code it to have valves always open. They close on start up for faster warmup but after they always open.

There is a menu called engine sound that will let you control the valve
