I think If I'm contemplating wrapping a car I would buy a Nissan not a BMW.

I think it would look great - very similar to the first edition cars (pictured below)

You can also get a satin grey look by wrapping MG in clear xpel (or similar product)

That sounds like a good idea. Wrapping is a great idea if you like trying out new colors. Repainting is not financially viable and for resale it's obviously best if you have a common/boring paint job.

Not sure what ThatKrazyPolak is talking about, though. Wrapping cars properly is not cheap. I'm not sure who would spend thousands of dollars to wrap a Nissan. Anyway, it's not like a 228xi is some high end luxury car. It costs about the same as a Maxima.

Correction - an entry level Maxima. I just don't see the point of wrapping a car that already looks clean and sleek.

Because people are individuals and have individual tastes when it comes to colors...that are not always offered.

I’m usually not a fan of satin/matte wraps but that looks beautiful. Only difference I’d have made would be to wrap the reflectors (at least the front bumper orange ones).

Do you know what company the wrap is from? I am looking to do mine in Satin Gray as well, but I want to match the color you have there. It is exactly what I am going for. I think it might be Avery Dennisson Satin Gray.
