I'm probably the minority, but I'm liking the G22's styling direction. The F82, albeit nice and classic, it's a little bland even in my CS trim with the buldging hood. I'm exciting to see the M3/M4 in Sept now, I was skeptical before with the grill but I'm happy with how it turned out.

In my opinion, the beautiful thing about most M model BMW's is that they age very well. If I don't like the look of the upcoming M4, I would have know problem hanging on to the current model until a refresh and/or redesign takes place, or until I see what that upcoming c8 Z06 is going to look like...

I think the G80 will have the same grilles as the G20 and people will love it when it comes out.

The last time a BMW model intro was this soundly trashed was the E65 7-Series with the Bangle Butt, and if I recall correctly that model didn't get refreshed until ~4 years later which was within the normal LCI refresh cycle.
