this is what I felt when I saw the confirmed design. I was feeling disappointed
because I wanted to upgrade but then it gave me a relief because no need to spend money this complete ugliness. But it seems like car won't coe wiith a
bunch of shitties like 4.20d steering wheel and 4.20d exhaust.

I'm probably the minority, but I'm liking the G22's styling direction. The F82, albeit nice and classic, it's a little bland even in my CS trim with the buldging hood. I'm exciting to see the M3/M4 in Sept now, I was skeptical before with the grill but I'm happy with how it turned out.

In my opinion, the beautiful thing about most M model BMW's is that they age very well. If I don't like the look of the upcoming M4, I would have know problem hanging on to the current model until a refresh and/or redesign takes place, or until I see what that upcoming c8 Z06 is going to look like...

I think the G80 will have the same grilles as the G20 and people will love it when it comes out.

I think the G80 will have the normal front end and the G82 will have the front end that makes you want to bleach your eye sockets.

I gather that aside from the size/shape of the grille, you don't appreciate the escalator inspired design?

The last time a BMW model intro was this soundly trashed was the E65 7-Series with the Bangle Butt, and if I recall correctly that model didn't get refreshed until ~4 years later which was within the normal LCI refresh cycle.

If you hate the G22 front end and plan to get a G80 because of the "normal front end", then be prepared for a disappointment.
