New software downloaded, when will it begin installing?

I get today new SW 07/2019.75. But after download. After 45min still no action.

I downloaded it to my phone, connected the phone to the car and after around six hours of driving is still only at 72%. It's ridiculously slow.

Did the same via iPhone total time was around 30min. But when it was ready no further actions

Unlike those of us in NA, yes they are. Europe and Australia are getting OTA updates.

Mate, the latest version is 11.2019, so you may want to check for that version as soon as you update to 07.2019

So an OTA update in NA was issued 10 months ago, then they pulled the plug? Why skip 07/2019 and 11/2019? Might as well be dead if it hasn't worked in almost a year.

It was about 6 months ago that BMW released the 3/2019 OTA. Not almost a year. Not dead.

FYI, BMW is releasing a 7/2019.xx now in some euro markets. They seem to not be releasing the latest code via OTA, but instead code that they've banged on and tested well.

Mine has finally finished downloading the software for the 07 update. However, for two days now I've just had a message saying you will be informed when ready to install. There's no option to actually start the update. More and more frustrating

True I got 07/2019.75 this weekend via OTA but it's a bit stupid coz it's not the newest🤔

Try going to general settings scrolling all the way down to remote software upgrade and click search for upgrade.. make sure your phones connected

Put your car in park, parking brake on, engine turned off, doors, windows and sunroof closed. And then go to the iDrive settings and see if you can install it.

No result maybe accu to low? Or not ready ... but still same view with tekst
Preparation completed for upgrade to version 07/2019.75 you will be notified when the upgrade can be started........

Does that work for anyone? It gives a list of checkpoints to follow for installation to start.
