Hopefully, the show is still going. I think I read somewhere they don't want to do the show much longer due to their ages. Well, Captain Slow and Jezza at least.

I already see people commenting: ‘it’s growing on me’ and ‘In real life it looks so much better’. Glad I bought a G20, with kind of ‘normal’ front.

Every radical redesign will inevitably create legions of followers and detractors.
I find myself torn. While the desire to create a highly differentiated design can be understood, the risk of alienating core customers is also a concern. It's just the details of new design don't come together for me. I still can't picture where the tow hook mounted license plate can be installed. |

Front of the M cars will be totally diff, grill and all so don't use this as a comparison. Taller grills and diff proportions and lines

The license tag (plate) breaks up the grilles, probably only time having one on actually looks better. Otherwise, a pig snout comes to mind

The majority of disgust seems a lot like the early comments the M340i had in regards to the grill... most of which is gone now. I predict the same here. I don’t mind it... not loving it either but I’d have to see it live and let it grow on me. For the record I was neutral on the M340i front end and now I love it.

Stunning.
Love this car and the new grill. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

LOL! 3 whites, 3 grays and 2 blacks. A "sea of ordinary" for sure.
And a snub nose does not make for an icon. Good effort BMW marketing team! |

I'm surprised so many here would rather bmw stick with the same design. I think this car will really stand out among its peers, as its a quite aggressive front end.

Looks terrible - hope the new M4 is an improvement!
£50 says I still end up buying one though

It will be using the same design. The grille might be bigger and wider but it's still the same shape and concept. A totally different front end means it won't look the same at all. They'll probably just make the grilles wider and lower to make the car look sportier but that's where the differences will end from all the spy shots we've seen.
