Hi,
I think an M440i in all black would look pretty good! In above photos - actually makes the 340 look pretty old fashioned, by comparison! Cheers Steve

I still think the aftermarket is going to come through will G22/G23/G26 grill replacements that effectively cut the grill in half top to bottom, remove the texture from the lower portion of the grill, and allow it to blend in with the lower air inlet.
These will work best with black paint and black grill surrounds as seen here, but even for other colors it will help. And if you go further and come up with replacement grills/surrounds that change briefly to body color starting at the top of the license plate area and finishing at the bottom of it, it'll work on any color. Of course a replacement front bumper with a shorter grill would be an even better solution, but I think that something simple like the above could work as a quick, easy to install fix for those who don't like the OEM look. |

I'm sure the wizards who design all the popular aftermarket items like US reflector deletes and other cosmetic mods will come up with some great ideas. |

Unfortunately, in the US, I think you still can't even get an M340i with black trim from the factory, so the same might apply to the M440i. I suppose it's possible they could offer it port installed starting later this year though, even if just for the G22. |

G20's front looks more aggressive and sporty.

I've never seen such a busy front end on a bimmer... they went over the top with lines and angles. My head hurts looking at the front end alone...

G22 all the way. Looks super sleek and 10x better than the G20 in every angle, IMO. Excited to see what the GC will look like.

The 4-series looks so much better. And finally they've made the side profile interesting enough where it doesn't suffer from long slab syndrome like in E92/F32.

Paint that fking G22's face in Vantablack already.
The rest of it doesn't look too bad, keeping in perspective it's being compared to a G20. |

The front looks they they tried to one up Edsel, by putting two hideous Edsel grills side by side. Hoping they do something to make the M4 look better or I will sadly be replacing my current F83 with something other than a BMW.

The grills are too narrow for that to work correctly. It won't look right and they will look too small for the face of the car. I'm curious how long before some youtuber swaps the g20 with the g22 front. And soon after that I'm sure eBay sellers will have a g22 replica bumper for every e90-g20 car. I don't like the grill but I'm not a prospect for a 4er. Curious if this translates to the g20 lci and into the x models
