Just ordered a 2025 M440i convertible and figured I'd start a tracking thread.

Ordered on 4/10/24, CA estimated a July delivery which seems pretty optimistic.
No order acknowledgement yet.

Ordered a 2025 M440i xDrive coupe on 3-13, brooklyn grey, mocha leather with carbon fiber trim. Luckily, the dealer had a production slot available soon, as production began on 3-30.

4-4 Production completed
4-15 Left the port on the Polaris Highway vessel
4-25 Estimated arrival at Baltimore port
5-6 (week) Estimated delivery at the dealer

Honestly, it was the carbon fiber interior trim that sold me. Why is it offered in other regions but not the US until now is beyond me. Nice! Mine will be a 3 season car (in Massachusetts) so I went with RWD for hopefully a little better steering feel and lighter weight. The first dealer I spoke with estimated an August or September delivery, I hope this one has good information on it coming in July.

I ordered a M440i xdrive in Brooklyn Grey as well. Black/red interior, carbon fiber interior trim. Mine will be a 3 season car as well but more all seasons but Ducati summers.

Just got my production number today, it's the first day above 70 degrees this year so really looking forward to it coming in the good weather. I've got a 2016 Multistrada 1200S so I'll definitely have fun in the meantime! Ducati and BMW have a some of the best sounding engines around!

We hit 60 in Wisconsin and that's good enough for me! I have a 2024 Diavel V4 I bought late last year, been chomping at the bit to get it out. Had the Akrapovic exhaust put on it from the dealer and first service done this weekend (so all break in limiters removed),and man that thing is a blast.

FYI to all waiting for a 2025 4 series coupe or convertible - The dealer told me there's a port hold at the USA ports for either a software item or EPA certification of the 6 cylinder and 4 cylinder engines. Could be days or weeks as BMWNA hasn't provided any further information to the dealers. My car's been at the Baltimore port since 4/25. This isn't unusual as I had a port hold on my current car in 2021.

Just picked up a m440 coupe on Tuesday. The welcome/pathway lighting must be standard, see the pic.

Picked up my m440X coupe on Tuesday. Brooklyn Grey, mocha leather interior with carbon fiber trim. Amazingly smooth engine, haven't pushed it "too much" yet during break-in period. Exhaust tips are Infinite Autowerks, easy clamp on install. See front, side, rear pics.

are there lights in the door pockets? i just did a custom build in brooklyn grey as well. awaiting delivery in august sometime.

They just will not put the m badge on the fenders in the states huh? hahaha! Looks like its on the front grill but not the fenders.

Is the Ambient Lighting standard on all interior trim packages? I was confused by that as only one option lists ambient lighting on the gran coupe (which doesnt LCI until July)

Pathway lights are just behind the front wheel wells (and not in the door pockets). Hopefully, the next three months move along quickly to your delivery!

According to the order sheets, Ambient Lighting (code 4UR) is standard on all 4 series coupe versions, but I don't know about the GC versions. Yes, no M badges on the front fenders in the USA, but I prefer a cleaner look of the fenders without the badges. Per the pics posted above, I removed the iDrive badge from the trunk lid.

I dont blame you for that xdrive removal. I really wish they didnt do that. It looks so busy on the trunk and takes away from the clean car. Should have stuck with adding an x to the model number to indicate. Very odd choice from BMW there.

My last four cars were black, black, white, and white so I decided to go a completely different route this time. I went back and forth with the wheel option and ultimately decided on the bicolor for the added depth and detail. I also like the blue trim on the headlight and brake caliper to match with the Brooklyn grey color.

The DAPP I couldn’t decide if I wanted/needed it but made the decision to add it at the last minute. I think I would rather have it and not need it than not have it and want it.

My MSRP is about $72k. Should I try to bargain or just pay MSRP?
What would be a good deal?

I ended up negotiating $2500 off of my car with an MSRP of about $79k, I think I could have done better if I tried harder.

finance or lease? if you're looking to lease you first want to look up what the residual, money factor and any incentives you may be eligible for then negotiate the selling price.

Either cash or finance.
My trade-in is going to be around $35k. I can pay the rest or can finance. Depends if there are any finance benefits.
