Hey everybody, my current BMW 2019 330i has got the non laser daytime running lights and I’m honestly not a fan of the way they look, I really like the way the laser daytime running lights look. Is there anyway I can change or swap out just my daytime runners without dropping so much on a full new headlight? Pictured is what they look like now and what I want them to look like

I have a 2019 M340 and also very interested in this.
I believe the 2019-2021 DRL are very lame compared to my 2017 M340 and also the G20 LCI.

Has anyone seen an upgrade kit to change the shape to match the LCI look without swapping the entire headlight?

Don't believe there is anything out there that could change/upgrade the look without swapping out the entire headlight. Aliexpress has "cheap" options, but would require swapping the entire headlight out.

You would have to sway out the lamp assemblies, modules, and will have to have the car coded from LED to Laser lights.

You need to swap the headlights to get another DRL shape.
The upgrade to OEM Laser light is pretty expensive.
Have a look at Aero Carbon UK, they sell headlights with the laser light DRL shape.

I personally wouldn't change out the entire headlight assembly just for that marginal improvement on the daytime running lights, which btw I actually like more than the laser

So interesting BMW chose to have DRLs different on higher speced headlights vs standard, instead of just changing headlight output. Definitely better than the halogen they use to come with! Anytime I see the DRL OP posted I wonder why they didn’t spec or purchase a used car with the upgraded headlights to have the ability to code in anti dazzle… guess most people don’t know what they’re missing.
