Do you have the F90 with the ZF?

Not lifeless at all. Not an MT, not a DCT, but not lifeless at all.

Correct - which is what will probably end up pushing me to a manual, again, if I get a G series M car.

I can appreciate the smoothness of the ZF boxes I've experienced, but I think that's why I am not a fan - the lack of appreciable tactility in the shifts takes something away from the overall driving experience IMO.

That's why I wanted full dash pic, so I can see how that wood looks. Unfortunately i didn't touch it on X5, but i did on Merc (they have open pored version too) and it was great.

Thanks for the photos, especially if you get new ones. I'm not the biggest fan of these orange seats and under dash colour, though.
The merc open pored wood looks much nicer and of higher quality (based on these pictures).

I REALLY like those tail lights. I love how BMW is starting to offer dark tail lights. I always thought they were so cool on other cars

Yes, it is indeed Circle BMW in Eatontown, NJ. I can see my CA in the background. I need to send him the pictures.

I'll miss the great 3-series....
What do you deem as an "inspiring" interior?

That looks pretty damn clean to me. Can't wait until they oversoak it in carbon fibre in the M

Did BMW decide to take the DRL's from the Corolla and slap them on this car? Bring back the PROPER corona rings.

wha?

Auto H = Auto Hold - Hill Holder?

Auto Hill Holder is afeature is on my 2011 1er - which is a MANUAL... not sure why it's needed on an automatic...

I just googled this and apparently Cadillac has an auto Hold feature as well.. seems like P for Park works perfectly for this scenario.
Because people that drive auto need as much help as they can get

Saw this car today in Stamford CT.
I get this is a new design language but it is not striking to me, not in photos and not in real life. The car appeared small actually, like a 2 series one would think. The only thing I liked was the sound, it sounded better than f30 when it took off.
