Does the mineral gray/mocha get you an advantage at barista drive thrus?

That's the combo I ordered. I'm still waiting on the boat to arrive. But I agree that black interior might look nice enough, but I wanted something a little more unique. I think the mocha looks great in the photos. I hope it is great looking in person.

NYKLine is one of the west coast bound transports.... try the nykline RORO schedules, see if anything lines up with your timeframe. Asteria Leader looks like it left on 4/19 due in Port Hueneme 5/27? Maybe??
You hit it right on the nose. I finally called BMW Genius and they confirmed the ship as the Asteria Leader. However he said it was projected to arrive on May 15. Not sure why that conflicts with the info you've got. But glad to know we're making progress.

Awesome. Thanks so much for finding and posting this. I've been tracking the Selene Leader, but the live cams that I found were all down.

Is it strange that my car was dispatched from factory on April 10th and it’s not assigned to a vessel?

I had to wait about 2-3 weeks during that phase, and I am taking delivery in California. But I was reluctant to call BMW Genius, preferring to look up status online. BMW Genius definitely had more up to date info, and was at least a few days ahead of the website.

That's good to know. I have been at that stage for some time too. The stage before that, assigned to carrier, is that for the trans-Atlantic carrier or the carrier from Munich to Bremerhaven?

I called the Genius number over the weekend and they told me as of last week they no longer have access to see production status.

On a boat! Finally. Glovis Caravel left May 5th. Direct to NYC expected May 10-12th. The BMW tracker from the owner's area was 100% accurate for me with no more than 1-2 day lag.

Did it tell you the name of the ship on the website?

No, at least not for me. I got the name of the boat from BMW Genius. Website just says "in transit."

Congrats! It seemed like a really long wait to get to the East Coast. Glad the wait's over and that it's going nonstop to NYC.

So I understand, basically you checked one day and it was 'dispatched from factory' and the next day it was 'in transit'? Basically going through 'at port' very quickly?

Mine is on: The Voyage No: CA918-MIG but I can't find anything online about it. Dealer says it's due at the NJ Port on 5/19.

Correct, it reaches Halifax on 5-17 and departs from there the same day. Then it reaches NY on 5-19.
If you go to Wallenius Wilhelmsen's site (https://www.2wglobal.com) and plug in the arrival date of 5-19 for arrival in NY and an early date in May for Bremerhaven departure, you will find it.

According to the site, it says it departed Germany on 5-6 and will reach NY on 5-19. One note the voyage number for this is CA918-MGE. That means the voyage number is CA918 and the ship is MGE. I see you noted CA918-MIG, but that is not a valid voyage number. If you just search for voyage number CA918, you will find that it is CA918-MGE.

Well, if you don’t know just say so....

Seriously, thanks so very much! I use to laugh at the geeks tracking boats and now here I am.

So I've tried to track my car but my CA is no help and won't get back to me about what boat/vessel/shipping company my car is on. My car is in transit according to the BMW website, but I have no idea how to track it. Do I have to wait for my CA to get back to me or is there another way around it? FWIW, it's been in transit for over a week now (en route to Cali). I've tried to use the tracking guide I was referred to by another member with no luck. I tried searching the numerous carriers that were referred to in the tracking guide, but all I see are schedules with nowhere to enter a VIN number or proper search. Is it just a guessing game or is there anyway to confirm?
