Last naturally aspirated BMW engine. But a V8 is overkill on that chassis.

My thoughts exactly. Looks the furthest thing possible from Motorsport.

Some say the F80 interior is dated - I'd call it functional and classic.

I'll wait to see the final design but so far this looks busy with lots of buttons, cluttered almost.

That Gear Stack design is getting a little over-designed and bargain basement if you ask me.

I'm skeptical.

The shift knob is designed like the SMG/DCT era and the shift speed button as well.
I lbs

Thé ZF8 hasn't had this set up to my knowledge.

Also, the knobs tend to be shared across the line and this is not the same as the new M5, 8 series upgraded crystal or new 6 GT.

Looks like a fake that has mixed up Audi and old BMW for a prediction

Now for f#cks sake someone leak a 6MT interior!

PS: wouldn't be surprised to see manuals will get the "poor boy" standard hand brake.
You do realize that with e-parking brake, you lose the rear sealed caliper design right? And end up getting stuck with improportional, floating rear calipers.

Fucking wack.

As for auto hold, not sure how the new M-ZF8 is but all DCT's automatically hold your car if you press the brake hard enough and let go.

6MT is gonna get an electronic park brake as well.

Unless BMW redesigned the electric park brake around the rear axle, you can say goodbye to those pretty sealed rear calipers.

Wow, how about a spoiler tag before showing so much of a car not yet in production? I was on the fence before, but having seen the incredible design elements in these leaked photos, count me in.

Personally the disappointment was aesthetically. I like having the M-Performance carbon hand brake to compliment the carbon / stitching in the rest of the car. I do not use it to break traction.

I like the handbrake for the look and feel. I'll take knobs and buttons on my dash over digital anything, handbrakes to hold, and 6 speeds to shift. Just feels like it belongs, even if I only pull it to park

E92 has a flat arse and is the lamest looking M3/4 released.

This G series already has the best looking front end. It's going to look amazing and be the best performing m3/4 of all time (until the next one and the next)

I hope those are real buttons but they look like the haptic bullshit manufacturers seem to be falling in love with.
