I am intending to fit the performance rear diffuser when I get my 340d.

I am thinking of keeping the centre section gloss black and painting the outer section in the same colour as the rest of the car.

I know a member has posted images of doing it the other way about i.e. the centre section in the colour of the car.

Has anyone painted the rear diffuser in the way that I am considering?

My Son did this but it was his last generation F30 with the oem performance rear diffuser - if it would help at all for general reference I can post a picture for you.

Thanks for this thought but I have the same one fitted to my current F31. As you know the G20 is slightly different with the exhausts either side and black in the shadowline so, I was thinking it may look quite well but all those that I have seen on the forum seem to have kept to the all black gloss.

I've seen the front splitter and side skirt extensions painted before. These look good to my eye.

Never seen the rear diffuser painted though.

What colour is your car?
