Frankly Im not sure how accurate this tool tracks the steps.

I ordered a 2024 G26 M440i X-Drive.

I was in the production queue for 12 days.

Then I went into assembly...next day I was in the paint booth...next day I was discharged from factory! My guess is my G26 was not built in 2 days...but over the 14 days.

Hoping it hits the Port soon.

For the G26....sitting at Port in Germany seems to be a several week wait getting on a ship.

The in transport is also several weeks.

Im hoping my G26 is at the dealership in mid September!

I’m curious. I configured a 2024 330e with M Sport trim and noticed the configurator shows an M badge on the fender. Is the US getting fender badges in 2024?

Just checked and it's the same for me. Fender badge on the 330e, no badge on the M340i. I'm pretty sure they just messed up and used the EU model when swapping from the 2023 to 2024 configurator.

Excited to share the news about my 24' M340i xDrive order.

I've placed an order on 23rd Aug 2023 and this is the current status

Build Specificaitons:

• Exterior Shade: Brooklyn Grey Metallic
• Interior: Tacora Red Perforated SensaTec
• Interior trim: Aluminum Rhombicle Anthracite

Packages:

• Premium Package
• Driving Assistance Pro Package
• Parking Assistance Package
• Shadowline Package

Added Options:

• 19" Jet Black 791M Performance Runflats
• Adaptive M Suspension
• Drive Recorder
• Harman Kardon Surround Sound System
• Power tailgate
• Remote Engine Start
• SensaTec Dashboard

Dealer mentioned the estimated wait time is around 3 months.
Also, does the dealer charge for installing parts at the port?

No additional charge for installing parts/options at port. Dealer price list includes install.

Regarding delivery time. Once you have the allocation / production slot it should be a matter of weeks. Mine entered the production line on August 7 and will be at my dealer today (California). Did your dealer give you a start of production date?

Interesting regarding the parts installation charges at port.
My dealer mentioned there would be additional installation charges on top of the parts price, seems like I would have to double check with them on this.

No the dealer has not given me any start date for the production.
All they told was 3 months for the car to be delivered, which would be mid November, which I'm okay with.

I think there may be some confusion regarding M Performance part pricing. You can find prices on ShopBMWUSA.com for port installed items. The prices I got from the dealer for a few of these were a bit more so I assume this was for installation. For example, the interior carbon trim is $1400 on the web site but my build sheet lists it at $1545.

wireless charging is standard on the M340i now, so the answer is yes.

Mine did NOT have the physical key card, but I do have the digital key in my Apple Wallet.
