I'm sorry, I meant that I would never be able to recover this function?

Do as I wrote and it should work, assuming it worked from factory.

Hi Shawn,
Just to double confirm my understanding, when we say VO coding it means
  1. Code the “default value/ parameters” to the ECU, right?
  2. Will VO involve multiple ECUs? So all related ECUs will be set to default (factory) value?
  3. Where does those ECU default values comes from?
  4. Can BU do VO coding without E-sys?

Thanks

1) VO Coding is Coding based on Vehicle Order (FA) It is NOT the same as using E-Sys Code Default Values..
2) You select one or more ECU. You have to determine which ECU(s).
3) The VO Coding values at the FDL Code level are determined by FA Data and CAFD Boolean Logic.
4) Yes

Major Changes are documented under "Releases":

Latest is v1.0.56, which included only a small bug fix for 13in HP laptop resolution.

Thank you for this its very helpful, few questions. Is this bimmercode desktop app? I am assuming so. Are the releases for bimmercode desktop the same as the mobile app at released at the same time?

Not sure if I'm being thick, but can't find the default wi-fi password for the BU enet wifi adapter. I tried 12345678 and 123456789 but didn't work and no instructions came with it. Nothing on the website from what I can see either.

ID is BU_WIFI
Password is BUWIFI_2023

There should be a sticker on the adapter.

You need an ENET WiFi adapter, not just a USB x LAN Adapter.

Need help to restore my BDC.

I tried the BimmerUtility app for the first time tonight and was looking around the app when connected to my car.

Accidentally touched the VO-code on my BDC_BODY3 and it coded it right away 🤦🏼

Of course I have all kinds of faults now.

I went on their homepage and read that it’s easy to restore and that automatic backups are always made.

So, how do I go about restoring my BDC module?

I’m using BU on my iPhone so you know how to instruct me 🫣
