We are proud to announce the release of the B48E Turbo Upgrade for Gen 1 and Gen 2 B4x Engines!





The B48E turbo is an OEM upgrade with a 0.61 AR Exhaust housing capable of 30psi of boost and flows 42-44lbs/min. This means you can push your stock engine to ~380whp on 93 and ~420whp on E60. Unfortunately, the stock turbos simply have too small of compressor/turbine housings and stage 2 hybrids struggle to reach 370-390whp on full e85 which for many people has been disappointing considering cost. The best part about the B48E kit is later you will be able to have to option to upgrade it to a "stage 2" hybrid for even more power.

The B48E Turbo is not a simple bolt-on. This kit brings what is necessary to install the turbocharger on your gen1/gen 2 B4x including a welded support bracket, DV blanking plate, custom oil/coolant lines, and heatshields. We also offer an installation kit bringing all the OEM parts that need to be refreshed when installing a new turbo.

For F and G series cars we currently do not offer compatible intake and charge pipe. Due to the angle and size of the inlet/outlet your piping cannot be reused and you will need custom piping. We are currently working on a solution but we understand some may not want to wait and make their own.

On the website, there are two options to pick when choosing the condition of the turbo. "New" turbochargers are unused and are sourced from BMW directly. "Used" turbochargers come from low mileage crashed cars and are tested before being sent out. Used turbos are cheaper but are difficult to source so they will not always be in stock.

Yes, B46 and B48 are almost identical. The test car is a 330i B46.
