When you place the order doesn’t matter. Ask the dealership what week the allocation is for. That is going to be the biggest determining factor for when you get the car.

If the allocation is for July, it doesn’t matter if the order is placed today or 2 weeks before the allocation. It’ll be built on the same day regardless.

I have a week 14 (4/3-4/9) allocation for my 2024 M440i xDrive Gran Coupe. My SA said to expect about 1.5 to 2 months after it has been built for it to arrive at the dealership. So I will be looking for a late May to mid-June delivery.

Please remember that this is all guessing, and your mileage may vary.

Thanks. I plan to go to the Memphis BMW dealership in April and discuss allocation.

I have a guy there with whom I have bought two BMWs from in the past my 2016 340i XDrive and my wife's 2019 X3 M40i.

He has been good to deal with, so hopefully he can get this done when I need it.

I order on Jan 14 2023 for 15 production week. Now it is produced and waiting at the port for shipping. So it depends on the dealer and when the dealer have allotments. My dealer didn’t receive an allotment until end February for a production week of 15.
