TPMS G20 - Canadian Model
My winter wheels on my Canadian 2017 340 did not require TPMS, unfortunately, the wheels don't fit the G20. Can anyone say if the Canadian G20 requires TPMS? I gather the USA models are usually different. Don't know why

Don't think TPMS is dependent on Canadian or US models. I plan to have TPMS installed on my wheels even going aftermarket. Just like most vehicles if you don't include the TPMS, the TPMS light will illuminate on the dash.

I had the same issue when changing from a F36 to a G20 this past month. My F36 didn't require new TPMS hardware and monitored them via non tire hardware sensors. I confirmed w/ my SA that the G20 requires them but not required if you're ok living with the tire service light. |

On F30 if tire pressure falls below 29 psi it will restrict sport mode so you only have comfort mode but without tpms sensors it will indicate no tpms but you can use sport mode.
