G20 330i Performance/ Sport exhaust?
Is anybody aware if anyone has or are going to make an aftermarket sports exhaust for the G20 330i ?
My BMW dealer told me that the original M Performance exhaust has been put on hold, due to some environmental requirements here in Europe.. I wrote to akrapovic, they will only be making one for the 340i |

I did some research on sounds of exhaust systems and M perf. exhaust as well, but I feel like the price for the M perf. exhaust is too much, and the sound isn't that much better than say a muffler delete + resonator delete. Perhaps AC Schnitzer will probably have something that's decent.
I have done a muffler delete on my G20 330i M Sport, check it out, I have had it for a bit more than a month now, and I feel like it's gotten louder since I first installed it. |

However, if you rolled down the windows, then the sound is much better. With windows up, you can barely hear a thing. You get nice acceleration sounds, and when you put it into manual shifting, the sound is much more pronounced and you can get pops and burbles (LOTS OF IT). If you just cruise on normal comfort or sport without changing to manual shifting, it sounds louder but not much different |
