I believe it includes additional cooling for the brake and engine.
It’s part of the high performance tire package in the US. |

Thank you fellas.
The website does not have a great description. Yeah seems like a good package especially if you planning to go stage1. Separate question, how big is stock intercooler on 440 and 340. I am coming from b9 s5, and intercooler there is a joke |

Yeah, the website definitely doesn’t provide enough information. My info was from an internal BMW product webpage. Even there they don’t mention exactly what’s included in the package…. Package alone is worth the summer tires and brakes!
The stock Air-to-water cooler is definitely good enough for stage 1. No traditional front mount intercooler for B58. CSF has a very nice upgrade kit, but it’s expensive! |

Hi All. I'm in Australia and looking for a second hand/used M340i. How can I tell if it has the tech pack? I thought it was because the callipers were red but I've now seen some that are advertised with the tech pack but have the blue callipers. Is there a way of telling, just from the pictures or if I go and see the car in person?
Of course, I can ask the owner but I'd like to know beforehand so I can tell for myself and asking every used car owner if they don't specify in the advert. Thanks in advance for any info you can share? |

Ah ok. Hard to tell just by looking then. The VIN decoder is something I could look at, cheers. The VIN doesn't seem to be in the adverts. You think the sellers will share that with me?

Seller said "I know it has driver assist but nots sure about how to find out the rest. I can photo brakes they take up full inner wheels and brembo calipers. Or happy to FaceTime before hand / send u pics of that helps"
I've asked him to do a VIN decode and send me the result. If it's running the PS4's, does that mean it has the cooling pack/larger brakes? |

Ah sweet, so that's a good way to tell then. Assuming they've not put the PS4's on themselves, then it has the cooling pack and larger brakes?
The other thing is, I've narrowed it down to two cars. One has the M seats, the other one doesn't. I really did want the M seats but the car without them is better for me. Should I wait to find the exact car with the seats I want? Is there much difference between the 2 seats? Like the ones in the pictures but in black leather. |

I have the M Sport seats in my current car and have always had them, or the equivalent at the time other than my F10 which had the Comfort seats and I wouldn’t be without them. |

I'm worried the non M seats might be even looser fitting. |
