So, I recently purchased my new car. Coming from a F31 320i LCI it was time for an upgrade. Well I guess I succeeded .

It's a 2020 G21 M340i Xdrive, Individual Marina Bay Blue, with Tartufo interior. Some M Performance carbon bits on the inside also. In my opinion the spec is spot on

First getting familiair with te car and after that going to think about some upgrades (exhaust could be a bit louder for example....)

Although I loved my F31, I think the G21 is a big step up in terms of composure and refinement of the chassis. It's more engaging to drive than an F31.

Love it - very smart! I opted for the carbon fibre interior trim on mine, but didnt realise BMW offered an 'M performance' interior trim...

Still loving the color, also getting a lot of positive feedback. Paint does seem to be somewhat delicat, easy marking and scratching.

Lovely Car due, interior is 10/10.

Have you thought about lowering springs at all, or you content with the ride height? Not sure how I feel about tampering with the stock suspension set up

Ride height could be a bit lower, but if I decide to go the lowering route it will be with complete suspension not only the springs. I've had both on previous cars and only springs just doesn't do it for me.

But for now, no suspension upgrades planned.

The first owner paid for it

In the Netherlands you have different Individual options, Dravit Grau and Tanzanit are Indvidual colors in the pricelist. They cost € 1.995. And there are special request individual colors (like Marina Bay Blue). Those are not mentioned in the pricelist, but cost a bit more.

Did my first modification, M Performance diffusor in gloss black. Suits the Shadow Line exterior very well.

I have the same but with carbon, did yours also have the m-performance branding underneath?

Made me wonder why on earth they put it down there? Completely out of sight but guess its quite cool too, very stealth

Yes, got that too. But it looks like it's embossed in mine.

Your carbon one has 4 fins? They told me I couldn't have the carbon one because of the towbar, the two middle fins are in the way.

Lovely car and spec.

Only thing bugs me is the MPerformance clunky badging right in your face inside the car. May be 4x smaller Id understand but this massive font and long text doesnt read well.

I always admired the Dutch plates / the typeface, ebossed, size - everything looks just right. I know it isn't the car, but sure fits the car well somehow, in yellow.

Since I'm owning a F31 LCI in BSM and already tired of the color I'm looking for individual G21/G31 as replacement, but there aren't too many non white/grey/black tourings out there 😩
