Unhappy Bimmercode coding "shift lights"

Hi
I found in bimmercode in headunit an option called "shiftlight". Activated it but it doesnt show up. Below i uploaded a picture of someone who did in my country : https://ibb.co/WxfHKtt . I codded the M Layout, s63 redline because it is closer to the b58 than the s65. Also coded tyre pressure widget in BC via headunit>expert mode>310>mvehicle2018>aktiv . The only difference i can see it's that the tyre pressure widget looks a bit different.. A thread on this : https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1737398
So.. How can i activate the shift lights like the one in the picture? Maybe is a conflict with other things i codded? Thx

You need one of the spoofing modules -- https://www.yaodechain.com/product-p...rument-cluster

Is there new information on this one? I saw a video of a lap around the 'Ring and noticed the LED shift indicators in the center of the dash, as described here. Would be a useful function in Sport mode.

So, I know for 100% this is possible.

When I installed the track module and had the car coded for it using ESYS, this worked fine.

Today, I took the track module out (unrelated, but I have a suspicion it’s still drawing power and killing the battery) and it STILL has those shift lights on the main dashboard - so must be just through the coding part.

Obviously the HUD rev counter is gone when I removed the module.

Can you send me the ncd files of your DKOMBI4 and HU_MGU?
I´ll compare them to mine and hopefully find the values.

And will you share the FDL coding values with us?

Sure. If you can tell me how? I’m a bit of a novice.

Start Esys, connect to the car, read VO, read ECU, then right click on DKOMBI4 and HU_MGU and read the coding data.
This should create .ncd files in your CAF folder of Esys, which is normally located at C:\data\CAF
Sort by newest file and you should see the two files looking like this.
DKOMBI4: CAFD_00004508_007_000_101.ncd
HU_MGU: CAFD_00003E52_008_010_064.ncd
The marked part identifies the ECU while the last part shows the version, so it can be different.

After that you can zip it, upload it to a filehoster of your choice and send me the link via PM.

Thanks for your work!

Okay. A little more complicated than I was expecting, but can probably follow those instructions. I’ll try and get it sorted this week.

Be sure i´m going to share my knowledge!
I´m not here for profits...

Let´s see when Wet Fish has the time to send me the .ncd files.

Hopefully we can get some info and replicate it on bimmercode as well!

I´m confident that this could be the case.
We´re only talking about FDL coding the DKOMBI4 which is compatible with Bimmercode for most of the versions.

03/2022.xy will be an issue because it´s not mapped yet.
And hopefully DKOMBI4 wasn´t switched to secure coding with 03/2022.xy

So, I've PM'd you.

I managed to get the coding for the DKOMBI, but I couldn't get the HU_MGU to work for some reason.

I've sent you a dropbox link to both the file and the vid for the error. If you know how to fix the error, I can try again for the second file. Happy hunting, hope it helps you all.
