Considering exhaust mods, want some help.

Hey all, I am currently considering doing a muffler and/or resonator delete. I've seen videos of muffler deletes and resonator deletes, but not both. I really just want to make the car a bit louder and make the pops more pronounced. Yes I am aware that a catless downpipe would be the best thing to do for exhaust sound but I really don't want to mess up my warranty. If anyone has a video of their car with a resonator delete and a muffler delete I would love to hear it.

You and me both my friend... deleted the res but it's just not enough... even with the tune and more pops and burbles u can only hear it when other cars around u are stock... once a loud car comes next to you . You seem like a bitch . But being older now and not 18 .. I cant go for a muffler delete... I'm in contact with a few exhaust guys for a custom muffler for louder pops ... we shall see

Hey guys, I have a lease and I just did a muffler delete simple y pipe... I had bm3 tune in past and then took it off... the pops and burbles are much louder with muffler delete and I did not do res delete. Thank god doing a muffler delete has no drone!!!! So I’m very very happy with what I didz

I had the car since last July and was so hesitant for a muffler delete but I just did it and it sounds like a monster!

Do you have any audio clips? I've heard a few on YT but they didn't seem that loud compared to stock. Or maybe it's because it isn't like actually listening to a car with a muffler delete in person?

If you code in Sports Plus mode, the difference a resonator delete makes is huge. I have done it to my car and keep the exhaust flap open at all times as well, which makes a small difference too. I get so many loud burbles and crackles it's really shocking, comparable to a B58. When I switch from sports plus to regular sport, all the pops are practically gone.

I have a 2020 model, so I'm not sure if a mild hybrid system would have the same benefits.

I've noticed more pops with Sport Plus but I wasn't sure if Sport Plus keeps the exhaust valve open full time...is that the case?

I think it might keep the valve open, but I’m not fully sure. I yanked the exhaust cord out so that it would always stay open a couple months ago. I would only recommend a resonator delete if sports plus is coded.

Is that a simple task?
