I'm running iDrive version 11/2020.50
I purchased it at 19:50. 10 minutes later I went to the car and checked the apps screen. It wasn't there initially. It appeared few seconds later. |

Mine has now appeared in the apps section without updating or anything. I’ll drive it tomorrow and see if it works. If I drove now then speeding would be the least of my issues 🤪

Do you need the latest update for this to work.. i purchased it yesterday but nothing in the car yet.
I have been waiting 2 weeks for the update to start.. it's downloaded but it won't kick in |

Still nothing for me. And also can't seem to be able to view my orders in ConnectedDrive website either at the moment.
Assume my year subscription starts from the time it's available in the car? No...? oh.

Purchased mine last night at around 5pm. Went out to the car at about 5:30pm, updated the apps section and it was all there.
Had a 30minute drive to football and then home and it picked up all the cameras and judged the distance to them almost perfectly. Is it an amazing addition... probably not, but for £20 its worth having I think. |

Ordered and then updated the app last night and it was there.
Had a run to the office this morning and it picked up the two cameras along the way. I set it to show in the head up display so very good so far. |

Dont think it can be. Im on 11/2020.50, and its not appearing for me.
However hamera has it working on the same version. How soon after it being available did you purchase? Seems to me the keen ones that jumped on it as soon as this thread started are the ones still waiting...? Going to go out in a bit and will perform iDrive reboot if still not there. That seems to be the stock solution to most of the many many software bugs.

Seems to have done the job for me. Its now appeared in apps screen.
Cant see where you configure it to display in the HUD though. Unless it's already defaulted to HUD, as per existing Route Warnings option.

Mine appeared very quickly but on driving past a local camera- nowt.
Admittedly the camera is out of action so it’s not conclusive Perhaps it only works with a route set? |

Surely that cant be the case. Would be even more useless if so, and you'd think that would have been mentioned within the details on ConnectedDrive.

Will, I bought it early like you. Did an I drive reboot fix it then? I have had my G21 coded, for a few extra bits... does anyone know if a reboot of i drive gets rid of this?
