It's kind've sad that one of the first things I'll be looking at when I take delivery is the audio system

Since my car will be a March 2021 build, I'm guessing it should be okay but we'll see.

iv'e not seen any reports/posts from anyone who's car was built this year. The replacement part number became available in dec 20 for those with the fault as a result of the original PUMA, so if you have just ordered you cars in 21 then i would think your cars are fine.

Good thing is after I turned the car off and on again it worked fine. :-)

Okay. Mine was built in February this year and I can report zero issues with the HK which was a relief. In fact, it has sounded much better than I expected so I've been pleased about that. I have a feeling the ones that were built in 2021 may have resolved this issue, thank goodness.

Hopefully they'll be able to properly fix the problem with yours and anyone else experiencing this.

If your dealer couldn't recognize this issue or can't see any fault codes, then share them the PUMA code thread from this forum & they will be able to order you an upgraded amp to fix this issue.

I already sent him the PUMA code thread. This is the first time since getting the car this happened. (6 months)

I had this issue, the dealership is telling me that the problem is the head unit even showing them the puma #.

Not sure if anyone else had the other problem that I had....... while changing the song (bluetooth Audio) the site crashes and restart....

Actually it happened to me once, but it has to do some conjunction with Bluetooth, BMW Spotify app & Android auto I believe. Luckily it happened only once, but I don't think that has anything to do with amp or car speakers. It's just a software issue.

Yes. This is why it is probably a memory issue. I noticed when this happened; I turned my car off and locked it. I waited 3 minutes, and started it back up. It look the presets a moment to come back like it was rebooting. Basically it IS the RAM Memory (short term computer memory) getting cleared during a reboot.

After the reboot the car was fine.
