I would't call it hideous, it is just that on M3 / M4 BMW did much better job integrating grills in to design.

You named this thread "hideous 4", which to the majority here is a direct referral to the provoking grill, the strong Asian inspired lines and profile (lexus/infinity) and the exit of the Hofmeister kink. I guess that's about what we can classify in the category "hideous".

Somepeople just want to rebuy the same regurgitated style year after year.....the old 4 looks so dated now its laughable..
