Tint for my '21 M340ix (aka Stormtrooper)

The final pieces are falling into place for my stormtrooper with some further darkness

I was eagerly awaiting my appointment at my tint shop and it was completed today. I got a 25% ceramic tint all around and I'm pretty happy with the results. Not just aesthetics but it'll block out 98% of the heat which will come in handy in the Hotlanta Summer!

Looks good. Nice tint - that looks lighter than I expected for 25%. Is that the M Performance front lip?

I have 35% on my G22 and it looks only a bit darker, so that looks about right for 25%.

Thanks. Yeah me too actually. I was going to go with 35% but they convinced me to go with 25%. It may also depend on the actual color of the tint itself? This is called 3M IR 25 I believe. After looking over a number of different samples and percentages, I pulled the trigger on this one. Glad I did!

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to answer your question about the lip. I don't know if it's M Performance or not, it was a port add-on and just described as a front splitter-black (Z3N).

Thank you, I appreciate that. I love Mineral White and the extra sparkle it brings, especially in contrast with black.

Yeah, that's probably correct. All the other options I got were M Performance so that would make sense.

Looks wonderful and more importantly (for me) is that you said "tint" and not "tints" it shouldn't bother me as much as it does given my stature in life (and glass of wine I've had) but "tints" just kills me. Go to any tint film manufacturer website and you will see no mention of "tints"

To summarize
Your car looks amazing and well executed - "tints" bothers me

Admittedly I laughed when I read your criticism of "tints". Honestly I've never heard anyone say that (or write it). Needless to say, that is indeed laughable and would bother the hell out of me too! Wine or not.

Is that along the same line as "shrimps"? That drives me nuts!

Thanks. 25% is definitely a good balance.

As for the splitter, I'm not aware of it being available in Davit Grey or any other color other than black or CF. I haven't researched it however. I was wrong about the trunk lid spoiler before, so I don't want to say anything about the splitter

3M and has a lifetime warranty. I've never had any issues with 3M branded tint.
