Voice recognition (NLP)

IDrive 7 should be able to recognize voice commands and even natural language. Commands as 'find me a restaurant' should work.

Does this work for anyone?

In my case, almost anything gets translated into a city entry in navigation.
Only very explicit single word menu like menu commands work although the system asks to proceed manually very quickly.

According to the genius, this is as designed. But in my opinion, this is by far not what I expect from nlp. I think that it should match systems like Siri or Echo. Especially since it bmw claims to use azure cloud as the nlp backend. Which gives better results.

A song I had imported was playing so I tried; press microphone; "add this song to my playlist" the response was "I will add this title to your favorites"
I was surprised to learn this function, so I guess I can also ask "BMW play my favorites"

I wish I could find some list of useful voice commands.
It's a long process to figure this out via trial and error.

Yeah, but that list is very limited because of how it is presented. Plus, am I supposed the learn these commands? That's not the intention of NLP.
