(I)phone apps in idrive
Does anyone know of any apps which, installed in your phone, integrate with idrive7?
When asking the genius about Spotify not showing up, he send a ticket to Munich. Answer is that is up to the app builder to integrate with idrive. But I thought this was not possible anymore in idrive7?

I recently leased a 2019 330i. I asked my dealer's genius about the Spotify app on the IDrive. He said BMW discontinued the app due to safety concerns. It has something to do about possible hacking into the car's infotainment system.
You can still use Spotify by controlling it with your iPhone. |
