Hi, since I bought my car, I've been using CarPlay with Apple Music. I've run into a couple of minor issues.

- CarPlay disconnects and I have to reactivate on my phone or restart iDrive. This seems to happen once a month.

- Music playback suddenly switches to lower quality codec. Sounds like old voice call quality. Hitting pause and then play fixes it.

- iPhone overheats on wireless charger. I've addressed by plugging in phone and putting in center storage.

Today, I thought I'd try using iDrive instead of CarPlay to see how it compares. The first issue I noticed is with Apple Music playlists. One of my playlists loads but the rest are empty with no tracks. Anyone manage to fix this?

Any other opinions on CarPlay vs iDrive with an iPhone?
