As an update, I got my 2 other summer tires in. It's now 30 degrees outside I have been running map 0 and the topend feels better to me. Maybe placebo.

It's placebo, I tested this at the drag strip. Invite you to do the same.

Map 0 is the stock map. So technically you shouldn't be feeling any difference since it basically means the JB4 isn't working yet. Map 1 on you should feel a difference.

I have a dyno day coming up with my Son in about a month to test an ActiveAutowerke intercooler and an intake on his 328 - who knows maybe I can find someone to come join us and put their car on the rollers? |

The JB4 works very well for the platform but octane plays a role, as do JB4 settings, whether or not an EWG connector was added, etc. One of the nice features of the JB4 is they provide free tuning advice so anyone can email in a JB4 log if they think their car isn't running as fast as it should be for advice to speed it up.

Those who have performance issues usually have some issue that needs to be resolved. I had one customer who set something wrong and his JB4 was never turning on. So if it's not doing what you want post up the logs for advice on why. Usually an easy fix. I'm sure everyone has seen the dyno of the independent Fuel-IT Z4 testing which is the same engine/tuning as the M340. |

Run them on all of our cars (including our Z4 B58 making almost 500whp without a BEF) and work with customers daily running them so we know they work well. Just trying to get you on the right path. You said "they are the only people showing gains" which is clearly not true so I just posted a video that I saw in my youtube link refuting that statement.

It is a well-known non-hidden fact that Fuel-It! is a close working partner of JB4/Burger Motorsports. If you simply go to Burger Motorsports you will clearly see their products as an option right there next to JB4 etc.
https://burgertuning.com/ My point is I don't think they are trying to hide anything **edit** Thinking about this a bit more, my apologies, I do see how if you are not familiar with Fuel-It! products you may think that their user name is just something that an individual chose and is not their business name. I do see how that could be confusing....especially if you are new to the forums or the BMW aftermarket Last edited by chenry; 10-29-2020 at 11:36 AM.. Reason: Added **edit** |

I did get my summer tires mounted up finally. However, it's been 40s here lately so not sure how much traction I will get on full launch. SOON I will test!
