M340I 245/35/20 tires rubbing the front strut
Hi, I bought 245/35/20 tires because I saw some guys here running 245/35/20 tires on the front. I test fitted them and tire is rubbing the spring cover of the strut. What is the problem it will be? how can I run 245/35/20 tires?

5mm spacer should solve your problem. |

You issue is the wheel specification rather than the tyre size.
Check the below link to an offset calculator which might provide some guidance https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...9-5&offset2=25 |

I run 235/35R20 on an aftermarket 8.5 rim.
(275/30R20 on 9.5 rim on the rear) I run 15mm spacers on the front, but not because it catches, but to poke the wheels out flush. You've got a few choices. 1: Try spacers. Cheapest and easiest option. 2: Change to a narrower front tyre. 3: Change to a narrower front rim. If it were me, I'd try option 1 |
