For reference here are some pics of the M Performance Rear Spoiler in gloss black on my white M340.
  • part number: 51-19-2-455-880
  • price is typically in the $235.00 range on line
  • comes in flat unpainted black
  • had mine painted gloss black
Note: do not pay anyone to install this for you - you simply need 1/4" double sided tape (I used 3M automotive) - you need enough to go two lengths of the spoiler in that it goes on the inner edges on both sides the length of the piece. It will take about 5 mins

Hope this helps

I like it too. Did you take a pic of before having it painted and installing it? Just curious what it looks like in flat black.

Thank you - I agree, I really like how it turned out. And for me it bridges the gap between the standard M340 spoiler and some of the more aggressive offerings out there - and that's just perfect for me :-)

No I didn't - didn't think to do that - but in retrospect I probably should have to help the forum....bummer

Someone recently posted pics of an unpainted black eBay spoiler. It was on a Portimao Blue G20. I wish I could find the link but I remember it and people asking why he didn’t get it painted before he mounted it and he said he was going to have it painted that way.

Really appreciate the info and confirmation that I should paint whatever one I end up with. I just replaced the front trim pieces with gloss black so will probably stick with that for continuity.

Mine is Unpainted. Might be hard to tell in these pics. I'd go gloss black, matches the other gloss blck bits

What kind of black is it when unpainted? Matte? I love the gloss black look and I've been searching for one for my car.

An unpainted matte look. Id prefer it in Gloss and may make that easy change at some point
