Looking at this, the trim should be able to fit from G22 to G20.

As of right now no luck. We have 12 G22s on the lot and everytone of them have the basic plastic trim.

Any update on whether G22 interior knee trim can fit G20?

Both the G20 and G22 use the same parts.

The BMW parts catalog is only listing this as fitting the G20, G21, and G28.

Do you know the part number for the side trim with leather?

Like I said before that I haven't been able to figure that out since all the G22s here at work have the basic plastic trim

they will not fit :/ The upper part of center console has steeper angle in G22 thus the side pads have different shape. Check the video at 3:02 where starts side by side comparison

Interesting thread. I'm sure many of us would like to upgrade the knee pads on our G20.

Surely the easiest way to test is for someone to buy the basic plastic piece (assuming it's the least expensive) from the 4 series and test fit?

Can someone get a price or part no. for the basic plastic part?

According to ETK these are the same depending on the options on the G20 and G22. Here is a screen shot of the basic plastic trim piece.

Looks like the leather padded trim isn't listed as fitting the G20. If the basic plastic piece fits the padded piece should as well.

Managed to test drive a M440 and I think the knee pad will fit into the 330 that I own
(This is not according to any specific measurements but just my naked eyes)

Found a 430ix with the pads here at work. These sure do look like they will fit in my G20. I would need the parts numbers that have the black stitching instead of the contrasting. I also verified that the main console piece is shared with G20/G21/G22/G23..

Part numbers for these are.

Looks like the same stitching color from the dashboard (dark grey). These are the pads I’m looking for. I’ll check if I can order these part numbers at my local dealer.

I just checked 51166994076 and 51166994077 on Ekris (probably the best Dutch BMW dealer for ordering online) and those parts are 155 EUR each! Even if I put in for a VAT claim they're 128 EUR each.

Edit: Apparently these are the plastic pieces??

Those are the Sensatec pieces if I'm not mistaken. I can only imagine what they charge for leather!
Wow!! That's obscene. I expected that price for the pair, not each!!

I'm hoping the ridiculous prices revolve around the lack of supply.
The 076 and 077 are the pieces from my G20 which are not sensatec or leather but the hard plastic.

51 16 6 997 207 and 51 16 6 997 205 which are the leather pads I posted above. These sell for around $250.00 ea. I don't think I'll be ordering any at this point.

Whoa, so I was all messed up then?

They're charging that much for just the plastic pieces?

Is there a Sensatec version?

You were just looking at the wrong diagram...

Yea they are charging that much for the basic plastic. They only ones I can find are of leather no sensatec from what I've seen in the ETK.

Yeah, I completely space cadeted that one. LOL

Can you run VIN WBA73AP08MCG01730 in ETK? I pulled that from a 430i at a dealer near where we used to live. It has black Sensatec.

The pictures are really dark, but I can see the pads: https://www.bmwoffairfax.com/new/BMW...f1307e53fc.htm
