Anyone else having issues with this?
I've put in my VIN, and it's says go to BMW messages to put in a security code & I'll be damned if I can work it out. Also I can't log into it on the car / add my driver profile. Just get the below error message. Has anyone experienced this with their car? Any help welcome please! |

Cheers for that. Maybe so - but I've tried 5 or 6 times today with no luck at all. Going to try and reset the idrive to factory settings and start again, otherwise I think it's going to have to go back to the dealer.

Yeah, but only a couple of miles away. I had full signal both times on my phone though (EE 4G). I might try somewhere else tomorrow. Seems really odd though - worked really easily on my 5 series.

I think at this rate you're better off going into a dealership to ask them for help or calling bmw customer service to speak with a genius (aka pre-pubescent teenager who thinks he's made it in life but has 72 month lease).

Exactly the problem I had - took the dealer 3 days to rectify as the car wasn't communicating with the BMW server. Have a check to see if you've got all the software (mine was missing loads) - you'll know if you press the Com button - are things like BMW messages there?

Had the exact same issue with mine after the TCB was replaced, they needed to get head office to activate the connected drive subscription to the car or something
