Streaming Deezer Hi Fi into iDrive 7
Is anyone currently using Deezer (Hi-Fi) to stream music into their car?
I currently use Spotify, however Deezer Hi Fi will Stream in lossless quality i.e. Flac, therefore I was wondering if I changed from Spotify at 320kbps to lossless would there be a significant improvement and would I notice the difference ? All of my music files are saved as Flac on a usb stick and they sound great with HK but its difficult to know if the quality is the same when streamed. Would appreciate your thoughts on this before I commit. There is a free trial available and then its £14.99 a month. |

Update - Streaming Deezer Hi Fi into iDrive 7
I Decided to bite the bullet and subscribe to Deezer Hi Fi with a 3 month trial.
Sound quality is fantastic using the highest audio setting (High Fidelity), it has a good interface which integrates well with carplay and their catalogue is vast which is lossless. I have taken Spotify off my phone but still have it in the car via connected music so I can use it until my subscription ends. Deezer is being removed from the connected music service soon therefore it will need to be streamed using smartphone integration. Positives: Lossless therefore CD quality or higher I will save £79 for the connected music subscription You can stream to other devices (Home Hi Fi, Kindle etc) Negatives: You need a decent mobile data allowance. I currently have 10GB a month but at this time I am not sure what usage that will give me. Deezer Hi Fi is 14.99 a month |
