Hi Carlos, I`m from Brazil. I had a 320i Sport G20 with analog cluster. is it possible to display the digital speed on this display by coding? Or change the hours or temperature for the Speed?

oh thats nice. I wish they would enable a digital instrument cluster that looks nice and clear and with clockwise for tacho like that!!

Exactly. BMW has one of the worst digital clusters ever, especially when it comes to customization.

My G21 330E is planned for delivery beginning of October. When I ordered it, the sales guy confirmed I would get the digital 12" display despite my selection of live cockpit plus as he said all hybrids receive the digital clusters anyway. Now I haven't seen many 330e with live cockpit plus and was wondering if the statement of the sales guy still stands. When I open up the configurator now, I see the new cluster above instead of the digital one (which was shown on my configuration back in February). Anyone got a clue what I will be receiving?

Near six months in and I still don't like the Live Cockpit Pro...

I have a feeling it might be doable since the new analog cluster works with iDrive 7 and LCPlus(with Navi). The only thing that might be a problem is if some of the features of LCPro cannot be displayed on the new analog cluster.

Before July yes, all 330e included the Live Cockpit Pro.
But now they do ship 330e with Live Cockpit Plus.

thx, just got a confirmation from the dealer I would indeed NOT receive the digital dashboard as it only goes into production next week. I was able to upgrade still today though haha. I apparently had choosen all options from the business plus pack except the professional cockpit and it was only 1000 additional to move to the complete business pack plus

Help needed regarding the Live Cockpit Plus gauges- I am about to lease a 2021 330i xDrive in the US. It will have an analog instrument cluster. What color do the gauges light up at night? I hope for amber. I'm very curious because it's difficult to find confirmation.

In February it was not yet possible to configure the G21 330e. Only after the end of May.
I bought a G21 330e in early June, it was delivered on September 26th.
I had to order the Live Cockpit Plus and pay the same, as it is an option. as well as many other options that I put in my G21 330e.

My car is a 07/2019 production date. Analog cluster is white during the day and amber when it gets dark. (In comfort mode). In Sport mode, it's white at night too.

Although the analog cluster in 2021 is a bit different, I am oretty sure that the backlight logic will remain the same

That's not Live Cockpit PLUS. What you have is Live Cockpit PROFESSIONAL. The 330e only comes with PROFESSIONAL.

What's confusing is BMW refer to the iDrive screen as LIVE COCKPIT also. As far as I'm aware, the 330e comes as standard with the full LCD instrument display (LIVE COCKPIT PROFESSIONAL) because there needs to be a way to display the extra data associated with the 330e, such as the charging state. Or are you saying it's possible to get the 330e with the analogue display?

In the press release at launch of the 330e Sedan, it said the 330e comes with LIVE COCKPIT PROFESSIONAL as standard...

The central part of the new instrument cluster contains a larger vertical display positioned between the two analog dials. This display can handle everything related to e-drive. (This is for EU market. I don't know if UK market gets 330e with LC Professional as standard. EU cars no longer include LC Pro with 330e)

I don't know about the UK market, but in the Netherlands, Live Cockpit Pro is standard. It's part of the "High Executive" package which is included free with the 330e. So I suppose they could choose at some point to not include the "High Executive" package for free, in which case LC Pro wouldn't be standard.

That's probably specific for NL market. In Germany base 330e comes with Live Cockpit Plus from summer 2020.

Having just bought my car yesterday I actually like the cluster a lot but yeah the lack of customization is very annoying

Congratulations on the new car! The cluster isn’t bad per se. But compared to what is available in other cars, it is lacking for sure. When I said worst, I was probably being a bit too harsh. But having a couple of Audis with VC, even though they’re older than my BMW, the VC is much better. And I love being able to pull up navigation to almost fill up the entire cluster.

Today I picked up my new car. Live Cockpit Plus is very nice. To answer my own previous question, my US spec 2021 340i xDrive gauges light up white at night. I was concerned the dash might seem sterile, but the there is plenty of color in the cabin.
