Password Entry

When linking a profile with a ConnectedDrive account, is there an easier way to enter the passport than spinning the knob?

My wife and I both use long, random passwords for everything, , saved in a PW manager. These are extremely tedious, if not impossible, to enter with the knob. Voice doesn't work for this, and drawing the letters is too error prone. Is there some way to get a touchscreen keypad?

its probably easier to just change & shorten your BMW Connected Password. Once you connect you probably won't have to log in again.

There is a touch screen keypad. Idk how to bring it up but I remember using mine and thinking it was extremely easy. I believe it’s a proper QWERTY keypad that pops up when you click the box to enter the password.

Put your hand toward the screen, the keyboard should pop up and replace the wheel

If I touch the password field, I get the touch keyboard. It might have worked if I touched (or approached anywhere), but I didn't try it.
