Anyone got their i4 40 or M50 yet?

Yes, if dealers got them delivered. We're about 10-14 days from our first delivery to the dealer.

I just got back from my local dealer where I got to see their first iX (Phytonic Blue/Black, test drive next week)

. Loved it. The sales manager said they will be receiving an i4 sometime between now and April 6 which is the date of the national launch event.

According to the BMW website my dealer in Freeport NY has 8 M50 at the dealership. I test drove one of them yesterday but didn't see the others.

I had a chance to test drive the i4-M50 at my local dealer in the LA area this weekend. It was a very short drive with the salesperson cramped in the back seat. My car is still in the order back and he says I have an ETA of June/July.

I checked out the i4 last Saturday and was told the earliest delivery is Dec. 2023 if I put a dp now.

That sounds extreme but could be the case in your area, in Southern California they're quoting 12 months currently. Only bmw knows how many i4 orders they have in the order bank, but wouldn't be surprised if it's in the tens of thousands range.

Tranzanite Blue is a truly beautiful colour. Shame there seem to have been a lot of desert sand blown over the UK.

What interior color? I did Tanzanite with Cognac.

It’s the M seats and I went with black leather and blue stitching, my 740 before the M5 had cognac interior so I wanted something different. This is a seriously impressive motor, I genuinely can’t get my head around the comments of either Joe Achilles or Throttle House because having had the M5 Competition and now this I don’t feel short changed in either performance or enjoyment.

No real M seats here in the US.
I originally looked at black interior but it makes the car feel small.

After driving, I can't see any complaints on performance.

Yeah performance is nuts, there’s nothing better than demoing it to someone new, you are saying doing 20mph and you try and prepare them for what’s coming but they simply can’t and that brutal acceleration is met with $@€#%

As for the seats, having had the M5 you realise that though these are meant to be M seats in the i4 they aren’t really the same. So I wouldn’t feel that disappointed they aren’t offered in the US.
