Software update failure

Anyone have an idea if this can be cleared without going to dealer? Car still starts and drives fine and there are no issues with the iDrive.

Seems to have cleared itself after a few idrive reboots.

Did you try reinstalling it and if so did the upgrade go through?

This has always been a worry for me with the wretched over the air updates (leaving aside my issue with BMW that it hasn’t notified owners that 03/2021.50 altered the exhaust sound). I won’t be accepting any over the air updates going forward!
