I thought to create this forum specific to M440i xDrive Gran Coupe to track our build statuses. Please share your build status (build week, status progress etc.) for M440i xDrive Gran Coupe. I will continue to update this thread as my build progresses.

Original build date: Week 15
Confirmed build date: Week 18 ==> Week 19 ==> Week 23 ==> Week 25
Production Begins & VIN assigned: 6/2/2022
Exterior Body Assembly begins: 6/10/2022
In the Paint booth: 6/10/2022
Awaiting career assignment: 6/14/2022 (moved a few stages all together)
Dispatched from factory: 6/14/2022
At the port: 6/17/2022 (Bremerhaven)

At the port: 7/11/2022 (Baltimore)

Side note: this is my 2nd order. My previous order was made on 9/20/2021, cancelled the order 12/26/2021 because of touchscreen deletion. That car arrived at dealership 1/27/2022 and was sold to someone else.

Ordered a '22 M440 GC in March, fairly loaded but skipped the driving/parking assistance packages as well as the cooling/tires package.

Order placed: 3/30/22
Allocation/Scheduled Production: 4/6/22
Current Build Date: Week 17 (4/25/22)

Like others, no VIN yet of course.

Quick update on my order - build date got pushed 2 weeks to week 19 (May 9), so now it's:

Order placed: 3/30/22
Allocation/Scheduled Production: 4/6/22
Current Build Date: Week 19 (5/9/22)

I assume I may be in line for a few more date bumps as well. Sigh.

A lot of week 19 guys in the M3 forums have started seeing positive movement

I was week 15 originally, then pushed to Week 18. Still no Vin , stuck at 112.

If I were in your shoes, I'd be looking at other dealers by now. That said, I know with inventories the way they are, many dealerships are limiting allocations to local buyers, so it may not be that easy.

Just received an email from BMW Genius saying that the production is pushed to week 19 (May 9th).

Production started October 4th
Landed in California VPC on November 13th and stalled there due to RAM shortages
Arrived at dealer / took delivery on November 23rd

Had everything I wanted minus power seats but was ok with manual seats

Ok, same week here, although you’ve been in line longer, so I may be due some more bumps in actual production.

I have couple thousand off MSRP and additional in incentives. Plus I have a trade that got really good value for. Everything I looked Ill be looking at least 3k over MSRK so I am like saving a lot of money staying where I am at lol.

I never though Id ever be waiting that long for something. My dealer called me todays said someone cancelled their order so I moved up in queue in order bank, now I am next

But I am still assuming Ill get my car towards winter.

Still at 112. I don't think it is color related. BMW moved me from Week 15 to 18 and now 19.

My first order was a dravit grey M440i coupe. During the waiting stage, it changed to a tanzanite blue m440i gran coupe lol

I changed from mineral grey/grey wheels/blue calipers to portimao blue/black wheels/red calipers a day before it flipped into status 150 lmao, the waiting definitely makes you change and add stuff
