Mine just switched to "Production Begins" and was given a VIN today. Was originally told by Genius that it was a Week 35 car. The production number started with 703.

What's the consensus on how long these take to build from that point?

Here's the car. It's Dravit Grey/Cognac with every option.

You can press F12 on that screen and find your production date.

Production finished! On it's way to the port now! Went with Dravit/Tacora red with shadowline and dynamic handling. Eagerly waiting for it to make it way to CA!

I placed my order as soon as my dealer could enter it into the system so I got the 1st spot.
Status 111 Car allocated on 7/6
Status 112 on 7/12
Status 150 pulled into production on 8/1
Car started production on 8/12 and finished today on 8/16 because of the weekend, so only 3 total weekdays from start to sales handover. Hoping it will make it to the port within a week, fingers crossed but will keep updating in the California thread. Zipping right along so far.

Congrats on your finished 2023 330e! I also ordered 2023 330e in white and it's current scheduled for production.

Do you know where is your 330e made at? Is it San Luis Potosí in Mexico or Germany? As you know, it has to be made in Norther America (USA, Mexico, Canada) to be still eligible for federal EV tax credit. My dealer hasn't responded to my question....

I just replied to your message about it but going to add the same info here in case it helps anyone else. All 2023 3 series inbound to the US will be produced in Mexico so the 330e final assembly location is NA! The IRS updated their website too with cars that should qualify which I will share the link they used below. The only thing I am unclear on is exactly how much the credit will be for with the new requirements.

I think it just means it is slated for production later than lower numbers. I am no expert at this, trying to figure it out myself. I ordered the car on 07/09/22 and "Started Production" whenever I posted above, 08/15/22 I think.

MY 2023 and order placed 1st week of July with production number. Updated too ready for transport this morning. Coming to Socal so hopefully see at at the dealer in less than a month at most is what I'm hoping for.
